BRIEF
A.D.Rattray & Clydeside Distillery Chairman Tim Morrison had 100 years worth of stories about the whisky industry, which his family had been in for two centuries.
Much of ADRs sales are with distributers and wholesalers across the world, and they wanted to cement their position as long-time experts within the trade.
They saw the best way to deliver this through a podcast series, where the brand story would be subtly told through stories on the evolution of the industry.
PODCAST PLAN
The podcast Whisky Legends was used as the vehicle to drive buzz and noise across key members of the trade and to be used as a resource for learning, with much of the history not well documented.
The podcast was promoted across socials, shared by large whisky influencers and reputable ambassadors, and covered by key national and specific trade publications.
THE CREATIVE
MAXIMUM IMPACT
Tim Morrison and the A.D. Rattray brand was inducted into the Whisky Hall Of Fame as a direct result of the podcast, raising further awareness amongst key people and business leaders within the industry, citing it as the best podcast they have heard. The Podcast was also covered in key media publications such as The Herald, Whisky Magazine, DRAM Scotland and The Week.
